That's the question on many Norah Jones fans' lips as they listen to her enigmatic new song, accompanied by an equally mystifying video.
The clip, directed by Philip Andelman, is centred around a murder scene which is slowly revealed, along with the intense lyrics of the song.
"Miriam" is lifted from Jones' latest album, Little Broken Hearts.
