The mighty ‘Are You Ready?’ is a track from the forthcoming debut album by United Nations of Sound, the new band put together by Richard Ashcroft.

Produced by hip-hop pioneer No I.D., best known for his work with Jay-Z and Common, the as-yet-untitled album was recorded in New York, Los Angeles and London and features string arrangements by the legendary Benjamin Wright , who has worked with artists as diverse as Aretha Franklin and Outkast, and who scored the strings on Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller.’

The album and first single from United Nations Of Sound will be released on March 22th. Titles for both will be announced very soon.
