Guitar goddess Orianthi will be opening for John Mayer on his upcoming Aussie tour.
The 25-year-old rocker, whose talent was spotted by none other than the King of Pop Michael Jackson, will support the five-date Australian leg of Mayer’s Battle Studies Tour which kicks off in Brisbane at the end of April.
Orianthi's opened for Steve Vai, and she's jammed with Santana. In 2009 she hit the stage with Carrie Underwood at the Grammy Awards, and soon after was contacted by my Michael Jackson’s Musical Director through her MySpace page.
Chugg Entertainment’s Executive Chairman, Michael Chugg said:“It’s a true double whammy. It’s going to be great.”
