Lisa Mitchell releasing second album this year

Aussie indie favourite Lisa Mitchell has revealed that she has almost finished work on her second album.

Speaking to theMusic.com.au, the singer said, “We’re basically done. We’re just mixing and tweaking it at the moment. We’re hoping to have it out in August, September.”

The album will follow Mitchell's 2009 Australian Music Prize-winning debut, Wonder.

It was recorded at The Stables in Gisborne South, Victoria, under the watchful gaze of the Hume brothers, of Evermore fame.
