It's no secret that Lily Allen oozes style but now the UK pop princess/chat show host/actress has become the 'muse' for Chanel design supremo Karl Lagerfield.
From the start of her reign in 1909, Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel revolutionised the way women dress, taking clothing 'back to basics', including the introduction of trousers, while maintaining an air of elegance. Over the years the label's iconic poster women have included Audrey Hepburn, Catherine Denevue, Marilyn Manson, Elizabeth Taylor and now Lily Allen.
Photo's of Lily's Chanel handbag campaign see the Brit pop star 'Channeling' (dad joke!) an ultra-modern Audrey Hepburn – complete with a Breakfast At Tiffany’s-style chignon and jewelled-encrusted Chanel tiara, with Lily peering seductively over her chic black sunglasses.
Of course being Chanel the bags are a little pricier than your average supermarket greeny but just like Lily, they are all class.
While classy, Lily is no prissy and is able to hold her own with the big boys- whether it's Elton John, or on stage with Calvin Harris and Dizzee Rascal at the Big Day Out 2010.
She's brash, she's bold, she's magnificently mouthy... She's the one and only Lily Allen and she's bound to be the talk of the Australian summer in 2010.
