Kings of Leon have revealed they turned down placements on Ugly Betty and Glee.
Speaking with NME the foursome made the revelation as they explained their resistance to "selling out" following their crossover to the commercial market.
The band confirmed they had received an offer to feature their songs on Glee while bassist Jared Followill confirmed they'd also received an offer to appear on recently axed comedy Ugly Betty.
"We got an offer to appear on an episode of Ugly Betty," the bassist explained. "They wanted us to play ourselves. We were supposed to come in and help her out with some problem or other."
Kings of Leon's fifth studio album, Come Around Sundown, will be released on October 15.
