Singer Katie Noonan has teamed up with classical guitarist Karin Schaupp, and the two women are releasing their first full-length album together.

Songs of the Southern Skies is a collaboration between the two women which sees them cover songs close to their hearts, including those from the Finn Brothers, Cold Chisel, Icehouse, Nick Cave and more.

Guests on the album include Icehouse's Iva Davies, Gurrumul, The Living End's Chris Cheney and classical musician Diana Doherty, who plays oboe for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
