The unlikely combination of Gorillaz and Bruce Willis has helped set a YouTube record.

The world's most successful virtual band, Gorillaz, teamed up with the Die Hard superstar in the video for their new single "Stylo".

The video premiered on YouTube on March 2, clocking up over 900 000 plays in just 24 hours.

This effort beats previous record holders Weezer and U2.

"Stylo" is taken from Gorillaz's album Plastic Beach which is available in store now.
